Lorsch, Jay W.

Lorsch, Jay W. (William)

(1932–  ) human relations educator; born in St. Joseph, Mo. He earned a D.B.A. at Harvard, where he joined the business school faculty (1965). Known for his application of behavioral science to organizations, he wrote many books on organizational behavior and development including Understanding Management (1978) and Handbook of Organizational Behavior (1987).
