Location:Southeastern Idaho, 10 miles west of American Falls.
Facilities:43 campsites (including sites with water and electrical hookups), restrooms, showers, camp store, horse rest area, trails, nature trail, boat launch area, docks, visitor center.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating, hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, rock climbing, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Situated on the Snake River, Park is a popular place for birdwatching, with more than 200 species of birds sighted here. The park also has cottontail, jackrabbit, coyote, muskrat, and beaver, as well as some 300 species of desert plants. Located two miles from the park is Register Rock, a huge boulder that has the signatures of Oregon Trail emigrants.
