Location:In the Cascade Mountain Range of northwestern Oregon. Accessible by US 26 and 35. Nearby cities/towns include Gresham, Hood River, and Portland.
Facilities:83 campgrounds, 1 cabin, 20 day-use sites, trails (1,000 miles), winter sports area, lookout tower, scenic drives, hot springs.

Special Features:189,200 acres of designated wilderness, featuring Mount Hood Wilderness, which includes the mountain's peak and upper slopes, and Olallie Scenic Area, a remote lake basin. Other points of interest include Timberline Lodge (built in 1937 high on Mount Hood), Lost Lake, Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake, Rock Creek Reservoir, and portions of the Old Oregon Trail including Barlow Road.
