Location:13 miles south of Superior on State Road 35.
Facilities:59 campsites (18 with electrical hookups, 1 @di), showers, backpack campsites, picnic areas, enclosed day-use shelter, hiking trails (9 miles), ski trails (4 miles), playground, volleyball court, nature center, scenic vista, shoreline.
Activities:Camping (including winter camping), boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, naturalist programs.
Special Features:One of the state's outstanding scenic features is the 165-foot-high Big Manitou Falls, the highest falls in Wisconsin and fourth-highest falls east of the Rockies. Park also features a steep-walled gorge of dark basalt carved by the Black River.
