White Poplar

 

(Populus alba), a tree of the family Salicaceae having white tomentose leaves and young shoots. Other poplar species having white tomentose leaves are also called white poplars.

Some astonishingly good results were obtained, in that each leaf, except for one leaf of Populus alba, was correctly classified in its species.
