Location:5 miles south of Deming on NM 11, then east on NM 141 for 9 miles.
Facilities:29 developed campsites (18 with electric hookups), restrooms (é), showers, picnic areas (é), group shelter, playground, hiking trails, visitor center, interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Camping, hiking, rock hounding, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Located on the western slope of the Little Florida Mountains, Park is popular with "rock hounds" because of the abundant agates and quartz crystals found here. Other minerals and specimens of volcanic origin are scattered around the park as well, including chalcedony and common opal.
