Special Features:Sumpter Valley's historic dredge is one of the largest and most accessible gold dredges in the U.S. and represents an important link to Oregon's pioneering past and development. Miles of tailings line the banks of the Powder River, a reminder of the prosperous but environmentally damaging years of mining.
