range, to Alabama's highest peak at 2,407 feet
elevation. The entire route is located within the boundaries of Talladega National Forest and Cheaha State Park is located at the top of Cheaha Mountain near the midway point.
Legth: 26 miles. Start/Endpoint: Byway runs in a northeast/southwest direction from near
the intersection of I-20 and Highway 281 to Turnipseed Hunt Camp near the
southern end of Cheaha State Park. Time to Allow: 1 hour. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (1998).
