acceleration feedback

acceleration feedback

[ak‚sel·ə′rā·shən ′fēd·bak]
(aerospace engineering)
The use of accelerometers strategically located within the body of a missile so that they sense body accelerations during flight and interact with another device on board the missile or with a control center on the ground or in an airplane to keep the missile's speed within design limits.

The PPF method uses a second-order compensator as controller, which has a relatively narrow vibration damping bandwidth and achieves better acceleration feedback.
