aeronautical ground light
A simple airfield approach lighting system layout as an example of aeronautical ground lights.
Any light specially provided as an aid to air navigation, other than a light displayed on an aircraft (ICAO). Approach lights, runway lights, stop-way lighting, taxiway lighting, obstacle lights, and stop bars are some examples of aeronautical ground lights.
