Hanergy's US subsidiary, MiaSole recently achieved a 17.44 percent aperture
area efficiency on a commercial size flexible PV module (aperture area 1.08m2) which set the new world record.

The R+ 28G Serial Link PHY is a 100 Gigabit Ethernet solution that is optimized for power and
area efficiency in long-reach channels.
This 18.6 per cent aperture
area efficiency corresponds to a full area conversion efficiency of 18.2 per cent, which easily beats the best recorded multi-crystalline Si PERC module with an approximate full

Two figure-of-merits (FPM) are compared including the energy efficiency and chip
area efficiency. The energy efficiency of the proposed ADC could be estimated as 125pJ/sample.
