front-projection screen

A fabric screen that rolls up from a cylinder on a tripod base or rolls down from a cylinder attached to the ceiling. There is a wide variety of screens for front-projection TVs and data projectors. See front-projection TV and data projector.

By placing a spectrograph sensor at the 100 cm position, Geola was able to measure the peak sensitivity and signal:noise ratio of the screen and compare this with a standard white front-projection screen (with 75% reflectance).
Remember, however, that we are talking about an image that was eight feet wide on a front-projection screen.
A front-projection screen offers the biggest picture, up to 200 inches diagonally.
