The simple to use HXP1000
Hexapod is ideal for motion positioning tasks that require up to six degrees of motion and flexible coordinate systems or pivot points.
With no moving cables or accumulation of errors, the
hexapod serves motion applications requiring complex combinations of rotation and linear motion, high load capacity, and repeatability in up to 6 independent axes: X, Y, Z, pitch, roll, and yaw.
PI L.P., the subsidiary in Auburn, Mass., of Physik Instrumente GmbH & Co., has developed a solution with two new, six-axis motion controllers for its H-Series
hexapod positioners.
The complete motion system of the
hexapod and lateral rail is controlled by Moog real-time software.
Fossil history and the evolution of
hexapod structures, pp.
At our university was built one
hexapod and one trivariant kinematic structures prototype used for testing, functional verification, for education and training.
The study used a
Hexapod Drum to test cushioned and non-cushioned (direct glue) installations; it found that the cushioned carpet maintained a better appearance even after it received 150 percent more traffic than direct-glue carpet.
The sting--the name given to the strut to which the test models are mounted--weighs 20 tonnes and is articulated using a
hexapod traverse.
The 'Forward' F110.210 also features Isuzu's new '
Hexapod' design cab which is packed with 'standard' equipment such as air suspended driver's seat, dual SRS airbags, cruise control, exhaust brake, keyless door entry, immobiliser, radio/CD player plus it is one of the roomiest day cabs, offering superb cross-cab access, currently available on any vehicle in the UK at this weight range.
During an observation the telescope structure is stationary and the huge eight ton tracker beam together with the payload, which is carried on a six-legged
hexapod system, get moved and slowly rotates to compensate for the Earth's rotation, at the same time keeping the SAC within 10 microns and exactly perpendicular to the mirror segment directly below it at that instant.
