Hypodontia is congenital absence of one or more than one deciduous and permanent teeth1.
Clinic and radiographical evaluation of non-syndromic
hypodontia and hyperdontia in permanent dentition.
On general examination the patient presented with the classical triad of hypohidrosis, hypotrichosis and
hypodontia. On clinical examination, dry and scaly skin with slight elevation of temperature was observed.
Patients with Apert and Crouzon syndromes usually exhibit
hypodontia, mostly of the third molar, second incisor in maxillary, and second premolar in mandible [155, 156].
Examination at 4 years showed occipitofrontal circumference less than the 0.2nd centile, bilateral optic nerve pallor,
hypodontia, truncal ataxia, upper limb tremor, and hypotonia.
The first case was a 5-year-old male child with hyperpigmented skin lesions started from the age of 7 days as vesicular lesions on the lower extremities and gradually spread on to the trunk, and
hypodontia with peg-shaped teeth and mental retardation were also developed.
Oral manifestations which may be seen include malocclusion, labiogingival adherences, gingival hypertrophy, accessory labiogingival frenula, serrated incisal margins, dental transposition, diastema, conical teeth, enamel hypoplasia,
hypodontia, and teeth erupted or exfoliated prematurely, which were present in our patient too.

hypodontia and reduced vertical dimension using metal ceramic restorations: a case report.
Several dental anomalies like
hypodontia, retained deciduous teeth, peg shaped maxillary laterals or lateral incisors that are smaller in size than normal often accompany this condition (10).
