Magnetoelectric Machine
a DC or AC electric machine in which the magnetic flux is generated by rotating or stationary permanent magnets. Magnetoelectric machines are usually produced with low power ratings. Magnetoelectric machines include inductors for telephones, magnetos, and tachogenerators.
