From the geometry of the
specular reflection pattern it may be shown that the surface and dive angles may be computed from the positions of the two light intensity peaks [[phi].sub.1] and [[phi].sub.2] using (Matthews and Soest 1986):
The endothelial sample size in corneal
specular microscopy clinical examinations.
If coating B is darker than A, and coating C looks intense greenish-yellow (Pictures 7 and 8) or reddish-gold, this correlates to 450 illumination and -15 or 150 away from
specular viewing, which is closest to the geometry of commonly used multi-angle spectrophotometers.
[16], which selects an optimal exposure time as large as possible and meanwhile avoids image saturation in regions of
specular reflection during the process of phase shifting.
The UK-DMC measurements were made when the
specular reflection point passed within 50 km of an active National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) ocean buoy, which provides near-surface (10-m referenced) wind information (Gleason 2013).
The last one is a generalization to all the roughness parameters of the relation identified by Sandoz [18] between the
specular gloss (G) and the roughness parameter [R.sub.q]:
Specular viewing of endothelium helps in better selection of corneas.
Specular reflection is generally more polarized than diffuse reflection.
In our previous study, (28) high correlations were attained between visually assessed
specular gloss, DOI, and OP, and their instrumentally measured equivalents.
We use an Adaboost method for eye detection and analyze the relation between the pupil center and three
specular reflections generated by three IR-LEDs for extracting facial features.
