Blanchard, Kenneth H. (Hartley)

(1939–  ) author, lecturer; born in Orange, N.J. After ten years as a professor of organizational behavior, he founded his own San Diego–based training and development company (1978). His One-Minute Manager (with Spencer Johnson, 1982) inaugurated a series of best-selling books and seminars promoting managerial effectiveness through the mastery of a few quickly acquired skills.
