Bliss, Tasker (Howard)

(1853–1930) soldier; born in Lewisburg, Pa. He served as military attaché to Spain, took part in the Puerto Rico campaign (1898), was army chief of staff during the great buildup for World War I (1917–19), and was a delegate to the Versailles Peace Conference (1919).
