Location:On the northwestern tip of Bedford County, west of US 220 in the south central portion of the state.
Facilities:Group cabin camp, 45 class A campsites (25 with electric hookups), picnic areas, picnic pavilions, hiking trails, bike trails, bridle trails, snowmobile trailhead and trails (8 miles), swimming pool, playground.
Activities:Camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, nature programs, bluegrass festival (annually).
Special Features:Park is named after the dome-shaped Blue Knob, the second highest mountain in Pennsylvania at 3,146 feet. Situated on a spur of the Allegheny Front, Blue Knob offers panoramic views of Pennsylvania's scenic Ridge and Valley Province. The Blue Knob ski area, located within the park, offers some of the best downhill skiing in the state.
