Cationic Dyes

 

organic dyes whose molecules contain the grouping Cationic Dyes R3 (where R is an alkyl or aryl radical) and the CI- or CH3SO4- anion in an aliphatic chain or in a heterocycle.Cationic dyes, usually azo, anthraquinone, or polymethine dyes, are used for dyeing polyacrylonitrile fibers.
