Cisleithania

 

(German, Cisleitanien; Czech, Cislajtanie or Předlitavsko), the name commonly used for the part of Austria-Hungary (1867–1918) that lay to the west of the Leitha River. In addition to Austria proper, Cisleithania included Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Galicia, Istria, Carniola, Bucovina, Dalmatia, and a number of other regions.
