Special Features:Park is an estate that was owned by New York surgeon Frederick Shepherd Dennis and given to the state in 1935. The 1,627-foot summit pavilion (formerly a summer residence) offers views of Haystack Mountain, Mount Greylock in Massachusetts, the Green Mountains, and a portion of the state of New Hampshire. The park is especially beautiful during the fall foliage season.
