Activities:Camping, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, swimming, guided hikes.
Special Features:Park is deeply rooted in the historical era of four-time US president Franklin D. Roosevelt. Seeking a place for treatment after he was stricken with polio in 1921, Roosevelt traveled to Warm Springs and built his Little White House, now a state historic site (see separate entry). Several park structures, including a stone swimming pool, were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.
