GatorBox

An earlier gateway from Netopia, Inc., Emeryville, CA (www.netopia.com) that interconnected LocalTalk and Ethernet networks and supported TCP/IP and NFS protocols. It also functioned as a router to connect AppleTalk-based computers on a LAN with remote AppleTalk devices. The GatorBox was developed by Cayman Systems, Cambridge, MA, which was acquired by Netopia. In 2007, Netopia became a Motorola company.
