Established: Authorized in October of 1964 and established in 1971. Unit is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Location:Reserve comprises nine units throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Facilities:State parks in the area are open to the public.
Special Features:This first national scientific reserve contains nationally significant features of continental glaciation.
