Il’ialy

 

an urban-type settlement, center of Il’ialy Raion, Tashauz Oblast, Turkmen SSR. Situated 29 km west of the Tashauz railroad station, with which it is linked by a motor road. Population 9,000 (1970). Il’ialy has a cotton-ginning plant and a people’s amateur theater.
