Lake Malone State Park
Location:22 miles south of Central City, off the Western Kentucky Parkway.
Facilities:20 campsites with electric and water hookups, showers, restrooms, and
laundry facilities, 100 primitive tent campsites, 2 picnic shelters
with restrooms, playground, hiking trail (1.5 miles), beach, bathhouse,
vending area, boat dock, boat ramp, boat rentals.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, hiking.
Special Features:The lake is surrounded by 50-foot sandstone bluffs and a dense forest
of hardwood trees. Mountain laurel, holly, dogwood, and wildflowers
provide a rich tapestry of native flora.
