Facilities:100 campsites, electrical hookups, group campgrounds, showers, restrooms, 40 picnic sites, group picnic area, hiking trails (5 miles), multi-use paved trail, 9-hole golf course, bathhouse, 3 boat ramps, visitor/nature center (é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing , swimming, water-skiing, sailboarding, jet skiing, hiking, bicycling, hunting (with restrictions), cross-country skiing, winter camping, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Colorado's first state park, Lathrop has a 2-mile interpretive trail that winds through sandstone formations, then climbs up Hogback Ridge along the park's northern boundary, affording panoramic views of the Spanish Peaks, Sangre de Cristo, and Wet Mountain ranges. The park has two lakes, Martin Lake and Horshoe Lake, and the Visitors Center features artists' murals that showcase the area's history and heritage.
