Molochnoe i Miasnoe Skotovodstvo

 

(Dairy and Meat Cattle Breeding), a monthly scientific and industrial journal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR. Published in Moscow. Founded in 1956, the journal was called Molochnoe i miasnoe zhivotnovodstvo (Dairy and Meat Stock Raising) until 1960. It is intended for kolkhoz and sovkhoz zootechnicians, specialists at breeding and animal artificial insemination stations, and workers at cattle farms. The journal is devoted to the achievements of science and advanced techniques in the breeding, feeding, and maintenance of cattle. Methods of increasing milk and meat production are also discussed. Circulation, 75,560 (1974).
