Location:In Genoa, 12 miles south of Carson City via US 395.
Facilities:Historic site, visitor center, restrooms, picnic and group facilities.
Activities:Historical programs, events.
Special Features:Park is the site of Nevada's first permanent non-native settlement. A
replica of a trading post built in 1851 now houses a small museum that
displays relics of early pioneer days. (The museum is open April
through October.)
