Location:25 miles east of Bloomfield via NM 64 and NM 511.
Facilities:246 developed campsites (98 with electric hookups; some with full hookups), restrooms (é), showers, picnic areas (é), group shelters, playgrounds, hiking trails, full-service marina, boat ramps, courtesy docks, visitor center with interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Camping, boating, sailing, fishing (é), swimming, scuba diving, water-skiing, hiking, hunting, winter sports.
Special Features:Navajo Lake is the state's second largest and offers the full gamut of water sports and services. The park comprises three separate areas: Pine River is the most developed and includes a visitor center with interpretive exhibits; Sims Mesa is on the east side of the lake, accessible by NM 527; and the San Juan River area below the dam is world renowned for excellent trout fishing and includes wheelchair-accessible fishing facilities on the river.
