Penobscot River Corridor
Special Features:Located in the heart of Maine's undeveloped forest land,
the Penobscot River Corridor provides opportunities for remote canoe
trips, fishing excursions, and whitewater rafting (provided by
commercial operators). It is managed by the state's Bureau of Parks and
Lands in cooperation with several landowners. Open year round.
