Location:Off PA 233 in southern Cumberland County.
Facilities:71 class B campsites (some with electricity), 6 group tent camps, 2 cabins, youth hostel, pit toilets, picnic areas (é), picnic pavilions, snack bar, backpacking trailhead, hiking trails (3 miles), swimming beaches, oat launch, boat mooring, interpretive center (é).
Activities:Camping, boating (electric motors only), fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, hunting, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, snowmobiling, nature and historical programs.
Special Features:Park is on the site of Pine Grove Iron Furnace, which opened in 1764 and operated for over 100 years, manufacturing cast iron stoves, kettles, and military supplies. Buildings dating back to the charcoal and iron community still stand and include the ironmaster’s mansion, clerk's office, stable, grist mill (now the Visitor Center), inn (now the park office), and several residences. A portion of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail (see entry in national trails section) passes through the park and the adjacent Michaux State Forest.
