Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area
Location:At the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, 20 miles east of downtown Sacramento and 3 miles south of Highway 50.
Facilities:OHV trails, motocross track, race tracks, picnic areas, restrooms, supplies.
Activities:OHV riding.
Special Features:Site features motorcycle, ATV, and 4-wheel-drive open areas as well as
a midget track, go-cart track, clay oval track, mud drags, and a
four-wheel drive obstacle course.
