Ryshkany
an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Ryshkany Raion, Moldavian SSR. Located on the Kopochanka River, a tributary of the Reut River, 22 km from the Drokia railroad station on the Oknitsa-Bel’tsy-Slobodzeia line. Ryshkany has a cheese plant, an essential-oils plant, and a building-materials plant. It also has a sovkhoz-technicum of the essential-oils and tobacco industry.
