SPV

(Simplified Payment Verification) A node in the Bitcoin network that stores only the headers and not the full blockchain. The SPV can check if a transaction is showing up in the blockchain and if a full node in the network has validated a transaction. See Bitcoin node, SegWit, Merkle tree, blockchain and Bitcoin.
