Sindica

 

(1) The name for the territory inhabited by the Sindians and for the Sindian state of the fifth and fourth centuries B.C.

(2) A name for Sind Harbor, an ancient Sindian settlement located on the site of the present-day cty of Anapa; capital of the Sindian state. From the fourth century B.C., the city was known as Gorgippia.
