command script

command script

A file of instructions that are performed by Windows. Using the .CMD file extension, command scripts are Windows "batch files," which differ from applications in machine language that are executed directly by the computer. Windows first converts the command script into machine language before causing the CPU to execute it. See batch file, batch file abc's and cmd abc's.
