(anatomy)
A prominent lobe of the cerebellum situated behind and below the middle cerebellar peduncle on each side of the median fissure.
(astronomy)
A patch in the sun's surface seen in the light of calcium or hydrogen; the patch may be bright or dark and is usually in the vicinity of sunspots.
