The following IT salaries in the U.S. were excerpted from various sources in 2021. The range between lowest and highest salary varies widely due to company size, individual experience and location within the country. New York City is generally at the top; however, companies in Long Island, New Jersey, Hartford, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Silicon Valley, Southern California and Seattle generally pay the higher salaries.
