absolute humidity

[′ab·sə‚lüt hyü′mid·ə·dē]
(physics)
The ratio of the mass of water vapor in a sample of air to the volume of the sample.

absolute humidity

The mass of water vapor per unit volume of air.

absolute humidity

The mass of water vapor present per unit volume of space (i.e., the density of water vapor, usually expressed in gm/m3). It is the actual amount of water, by weight, in water vapor in a given volume of space. Also known as vapor concentration.

As the relative humidity indicates the moisture on the cathode surface, it is the more important component when compared with absolute humidity. The measurement results with same relative humidity but different absolute humidity support this conclusion.
Figure 6c shows the behavior of the duct air absolute humidity of the model obtained through simulation.
An increase in the frosting time was also observed when the absolute humidity was varied from 3.5 to 3 grams of water vapor per kg of dry air and with a similar air dry bulb temperature of 1.7 [degrees] C (35 [degrees] F).
* Leaving air off the coil is effectively saturated so that room DP temperature (absolute humidity) is the same as the DB temperature.

To reiterate what was noted above, this process must be controlled by dew point or absolute humidity sensors to ensure that cooling coils don't dehumidify while the humidifiers simultaneously add moisture to the space.
Specifically, CFD codes determine the spatial distribution of air velocity, air temperature, and absolute humidity over the ice sheet.
A defect related to motor vehicle safety may arise in the inflators due to propellant degradation occurring after prolonged exposure to high absolute humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling.
The system measures the oxygen, CO and CO2 content of the air, with optional measurement of absolute humidity and residual oil (VOCs) in compliance with Breathing Air Standard
