after-flush

The residue of water in a toilet flush tank after it has been flushed; after flushing, the residue gradually drains from the flush tank to seal the trap.

Based on the maximum [SIGMA] 8PAH concentration measured in any sample of a given type, MOEs calculated for oral exposure in an adult weighing 60 kg and consuming 2 L of water per day were < 10,000 for low- and high-flush samples, after-flush samples (collected 15 min after flushing), and samples taken 2-4 hr after repair (Table 2).
All functional tests are performed five times each, while the after-flush volume for WC is carried out no less than 10 times.
In the after-flush volume test it is determined by means of a solenoid valve how many litres of water flow out of the WC after the test specimens have been flushed out.
