air route
Air traffic services (ATS) routes as they appear on aeronautical charts. They are annotated red or green depending on their orientation north–south or east–west respectively.
The navigable airspace between two points, identified to the extent necessary for the application of flight rules. The term is used to mean variously, airway, advisory route, controlled or uncontrolled route, or arrival or departure route.
