The meningothelial tumors have been described in literature by different authors using variable terms, such as "epithelioma", or "dural endothelioma", or "angioendothelioma
", or "fungus of the dura mater", or "fungoid tumors", or "psammoma", or "fibrosarcoma", or "meningeal fibroblastoma", or "meningoblastoma", or "mesothelioma of the meninges" [26-28].
This group of tumors in the spleen is composed of heterogeneous tumors such as hemangioma, angioendothelioma (AE), littoral cell angioma, and angiosarcoma.
Myoid Angioendothelioma of the Spleen: A Rare Case Report and Literature Review.

The differential diagnosis of intravascular KS includes intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia, intravenous PG, intravascular fasciitis, papillary intralymphatic angioendothelioma
(Dabska tumor), and intravascular myopericytoma.
Clinically, IPEH can be misdiagnosed as a mucocele, hemangioma, pyogenic granuloma, Kaposi sarcoma, angiosarcoma, Kimura disease, intravenous atypical vascular proliferation, endovascular papillary angioendothelioma, papular angioplasia, or bacillary angiomatosis.
Endovascular papillary angioendothelioma of childhood: A vascular lesion possibly characterized by "high" endothelial cell differentiation.
The HHV8 specificity and sensibility is increased by its positivity in Kaposi-like lesions present in sarcoma, and decreased by its negativity in angiosarcoma, kaposiform hemangioendothelioma, hemangioma with fusiform cells, reactive angioendothelioma
or reactive vascular proliferations [14, 21].
Malignant endovascular papillary angioendothelioma
of the skin in childhood: clinicopathologic study of 6 cases.
[49,50] Other differential diagnoses include mucocele, pyogenic granuloma, Kaposi' s sarcoma, and other vascular conditions such as hemangioma, angioendothelioma
, papular angioplasia, Kimura's disease, bacillary angiomatosis, and intravenous atypical vascular proliferation.
Cell proliferation in malignant angioendothelioma
