Related to anonymous Web surfing: Anonymous web proxy
anonymous Web surfingSurfing the Web without divulging personal information to websites and tracking technologies. It can be accomplished by hiding the user's IP address by rerouting all requests through a third-party proxy server (see Tor) and/or by using a service that encrypts the data (see VPN service).
Another approach is a built-in browser feature or add-on browser plug-in that makes the session private on the client side, removing traces of Web activity in the computer when the browser window is closed (see private browsing).
