business logic

business logic

The part of an application program that performs the required data processing of the business. It refers to the routines that perform the data entry, update, query and report processing, and more specifically to the processing that takes place behind the scenes rather than the presentation logic required to display the data on the screen (GUI processing). Client applications are made up of a user interface and business logic. Server applications are mostly business logic.

Both client and server applications also require communications links, but the network infrastructure, like the user interface, is not part of the business logic.

Realm .NET makes C# a first-class citizen on every part of the Realm Platform, enabling developers to build native iOS and Android applications, create data triggers and integration code, and write application logic. Realm's robust support for the Universal Windows Platform, which provides a common application platform on every device that runs Windows, means a developer can use the Realm Platform's unique live object database, synchronization engine, and offline-first capabilities to build sophisticated real-time applications and features that work across the majority of modern Microsoft devices, as well as Google Android and Apple iOS devices.
