attenuation equalizer[ə‚ten·yə′wā·shən ′ē·kwə‚līz·ər]
Corrective network which is designed to make the absolute value of the transfer impedance, with respect to two chosen pairs of terminals, substantially constant for all frequencies within a desired range. Also known as attenuation factor.
