Therefore, regarding the above transition scheme, we observed the spectra of Sr stable isotopes ([sup.84]Sr, [sup.86]Sr, and [sup.88]Sr) to verify the narrow width of the 3rd autoionization transition are suitable for isotope separation.

The ionization onset region in the photoabsorption of [CO.sub.2] contains a number of strong autoionization features that converge on the A [[blank.sup.2][pi.sub.u] and [[blank].sup.2][Summation over(+/u)].
studied [CO.sub.2] autoionization and pointed out that the use of the method worked out by Smith and modified by Eland to apply the Fano-Mies configuration interaction theory to molecules could be used to explain portions of the non-Franck-Condon behavior seen in the photoionization of [CO.sub.2] (19-23).
The model included the effects of changing activity and the autoionization of water.
