Ca
(also, Song Ha), a river in the Democratic Republic of Viet-nam (DRV), originating in Laos. Length, approximately 500km. In its upper reaches, it cuts through spurs of the TruongSon, crosses a maritime plain, and then flows into the Gulf of BacBo (Tonkin) of the South China Sea. The water level is at itshighest during the summer. In its lower course, its waters areused for irrigation. The city of Vinh (DRV) is situated on theriver.
