A door which rotates on pivots set into the lintel and the doorsill rather than about one vertical edge.
center-hung door, center-pivoted door
A door which is supported by and swings about a pivot recessed in the floor at a point located on the center line of the door’s thickness; the door may be of the single-swing or double-acting type.
